Retirement of Microsoft legacy courses and full move to Role-based Certifications

Microsoft will complete its move to role based certifications and retire all so called legacy courses on December 30th, 2021. Our extensive and up to date Microsoft role-based training offering and our experience as a Microsoft Learning Partner will ensure that you will stay up to date with new technologies and be prepared in a comprehensive way for your next certification.

Many of the retiring courses will also have a direct role-based successor course and can be booked through your TD SYNNEX Academy team as you can see in the table below.

Retiring Certifications MCSA, MSCE, MCSD

Microsoft announced in early 2020 that they will retire all remaining exams associated with Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA), Microsoft Certified Solutions Developer (MCSD), Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE) on January 31, 2021. Those exams and certifications which retired on January 31st will remain eligible for competency attainment in the Microsoft Partner Program until January 31st 2022 if they were taken before they retired. This information is especially interesting for all our Microsoft resellers.
