HPE Comware Data center
(HQ7C3S)
This course gives experienced network engineers an opportunity to understand and practice configuration of data center protocols on HPE Comware devices. Participants configure Out of Band Management (OOBM), VPN-Instance, VXLAN, Ethernet Virtual Private Network (EVPN), Data Center Bridging Extension (DCBX), Fibre Channel over Ethernet (FCoE), and Zero Touch Provisioning (ZTP). The Non-Volatile
Memory Express over Fabric (NVMe-oF) and Remote Direct Memory Access Over Converged Ethernet (RoCE) modules are discussion only. This course covers advanced topics; learners experience both theory and hands-on practice using real hardware through remote lab activities. This course is approximately 30 percent lecture and learning activities and 70 percent hands-on lab activities.
Audience
This course is intended for network or systems administrators, network engineers, and consultants who plan to deploy HPE Comware 7 switches into a new or existing data center network.
Prerequisites:
Learners should have extensive networking experience including BGP and OSPF, to get the most from this training course. It does not require completion of any previous HPE networking courses.
